Coreco Spotlight: Tom Matthews

At the end of last year, Tom won the ‘Adviser of the Year’ award for the second year running as voted by Coreco’s directors. We caught up with him this month to ask him about his highlights of the year and his goals for 2018. Over to you Tom!

Hard work and focus on service above all.

What is your favourite Coreco memory

Those that I cannot repeat!

 

If you could give your younger self one tip, what would it be?

Do the same again but take more holidays.

 

What was your highlight of 2017?

I got a pet dog.

 

Where is your favourite place to eat?

Always Red Dog Saloon in Hoxton. Though for special occasions you cannot beat the charm and sophistication in the dining hall at The Ritz.

 

What’s your top tip for someone who wants to be a mortgage broker?

Put in the hours and always reply within 24 hours (or as close as humanly possible)

 

What is your goal for 2018?

His journey started at John Charcol where he became part of the top-performing team before moving on to Cobalt Capital.
